3 Writing Skills The Primary Student Should Have

Developing writing skills from primary level studies gives a head start in their upper-level studies. Students should know how to interpret pictures in words. If he or she has effective writing skills, it will be easy for them to write on any subject.

Here We Have Defined 3 Skills That Are Most Important To The Primary Student:

Effective Writing Skills

Planning skills: Planning skills help students to know how to start and end a story. When starting a story, it is necessary to understand the reader of the story. Use the 5W1H formula (who, where, what, when, why, how) to describe the start. For the middle section, explain actions, thoughts, and feelings. And for the ending part, jump to your conclusion.

Detailing: A fantastic story when students write about each and every detail. For this, they will have to work on making sentences. To make a long story, add and describe adjectives, nouns, verbs, adverbs, time.

Writing Technique: Use the 5-senses description writing technique to create a meaningful story. For example: what can be seen, heard, smelled, tasted, and felt. Describe all these senses in your story. This will make your story longer as well as interesting.

Start practising the skills above the primary level. Since these skills will also help you in further studies.
